Description:

The Alcatel DMX3003N (also identified as the DMX-3003N) is a carrier-grade digital multiplexer shelf designed for legacy SONET and TDM telecommunications infrastructure.
The system is modular, consisting of a base chassis that can be populated with various interface and power modules:
Chassis/Shelf: Often referred to as the Muldem Shelf (Part: 694-9023-001) or Muldem Base Chassis.
Power Supply: Requires a dedicated power module (Part: 694-9023-001 or 822-0258-001), typically operating on -48V DC power feeds.
Functionality: Supports DS1 and DS3 signals, and in larger DMX families, expands to OC-3/12/48/192 levels for transporting voice, data, and SAN traffic.
