The NJT5024 is a 2-watt L-Band to Ku-Band Block Upconverter (BUC) manufactured by New Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (NJRC). It is a fixed-gain transmitter designed to convert intermediate frequency (IF) signals from an L-band modem into high-frequency RF signals for satellite uplink.
Output Power: 2W Linear (+33 dBm minimum).
RF Output Frequency: 14.0 to 14.5 GHz (Standard Ku-Band).
IF Input Frequency: 950 to 1,450 MHz (L-Band).
Local Oscillator (LO): 13.05 GHz.
Conversion Gain: 53 dB nominal.
Input Interface: N-type female (50 ohm) for the standard NJT5024 model; F-type female (75 ohm) for the NJT5024F variant.
Power Requirements: +15 to +24 V DC; consumes a maximum of 45 Watts.
